The room seemed larger than most standard rooms at other hotels with a king bed, a couch, mini-fridge and a large flat screen TV. We had a 16th floor room, facing north, with a great view of downtown. They saw the line and opened up some more check-in lanes. The check-in experience was quick despite there being a line at around 6pm on Saturday night. We stayed two nights over Memorial Day weekend for my wife's birthday. I am glad smoking is not allowed at the pool however. Only complaint I had was the manager of the pool told my fiancé' not to vape yet she allowed her employees to do so and allowed some friends of hers who were having a birthday party to do so as well. Kids are allowed, but this is mostly an adult pool with the drinks and music.
Bathroom shower is gorgeous, although the 2nd time we went they ran out of hot water but offered an acceptable discount to offset the cold shower 1 of the 2 days. Casino is fun, they have a non-smoking area, valet parking, and the hotel rooms are 5 star. They play music and at night they have a band play on the dry side of the Landshark Bar.
It has a swim up bar, lots of cushion chairs, cabana's (they are pricey and you have to reserve in advance), and the drinks are reasonably priced. Its by far the best resort style pool we've ever been to. The Margaritaville resort at this hotel and casino puts it over the top.
